Alea Fairchild has been lifting since January 2005, and won her first national title that year as well. She has lifted internationally since May 2006, and has won five World Masters silver medals in her age/weight category, as well as the gold medal at the European Masters in 2009 in her age/weight category.
Not bad for someone who started lifting at age 40!! Happy to say that as of beginning of 2025, I have been competitively lifting now for 20 years as a Masters lifter.
